What started as a little girl baking alongside her grandmother has grown into something sweeter than we ever could have imagined. Since officially opening our doors in August 2026, TayTay’s Sweets has been NONSTOP, and our hearts are so full! Founded by Taylor Joella Wells, TayTay’s Sweets has been built on family, tradition, creativity, and a whole lot of love. Growing up surrounded by family recipes, restaurant kitchens, and grandmothers who shared their love through food, Taylor discovered early on that baking was about so much more than just sweets. It was about creating memories, celebrating life's biggest moments, and bringing people together.

One of the most meaningful parts of this journey began with Taylor’s grandmother, who passed down what Taylor lovingly calls the “golden spatula.” That legacy continues in every cake we create, every celebration we become a part of, and every sweet treat that leaves our kitchen. What began with a first official customer in May 2018 has grown into an award-winning bakery specializing in custom cakes, wedding cakes, and sweet treats for life's most special occasions.

Now, opening our very own storefront marks an entirely new chapter in that story! From celebrating our couples and birthday boys and girls to welcoming new faces through our doors, we are so grateful for every opportunity to do what we love. Being recognized among Mississippi’s top wedding cake designers and sweet treat businesses in 2025 and 2026 has been an incredible honor but getting to serve our community every day is a reward all its own.
